Fake Movie Friday: Who Shot The Teddy Bear?

As Russ said we all took suggestions last night at the 3rd anniversary of Pig Pile. My suggestion is below. I wrote out an outline on the bus this evening and I think it is really awesome, let’s see if I can make those scribbles make sense. It’s a bit long but stick to the end, I think it’s really fun.

Who Shot the Teddy Bear?

Movie opens up with three men busting through the door into a mechanics garage. Two of them, Stevie and Tugs, celebrate over a bag of money and jewelry. The third man, Tony, looks nervous and sick. Stevie tries to cheer him up and Tony yells, “I shouldn’t have let you convince me. Why did I take your gun? I killed him!”

Fake Movie Friday: Family Trigger

I don’t have much of an introduction for this, basically have my fingers crossed that the basic idea that I have from selecting a title turns out to be something fun. Here we go!

Family Trigger

An older Harvey Keitel-ish type man slowly gets out of bed. He looks up to see his NYPD dress blues hanging up ready for him. He showers and gets dressed and we see a ton of pictures him younger getting awards, meeting important people, and finally a few pictures of him with a young girl as she grows up and finally one with her graduating the police academy. As he finishes dressing and leaves the room we see a newspaper announcing the girl was killed on duty.

Fake Movie Friday: Photogeneric

My random word generator made me think of a photography school movie. That’s as far as I’ve gotten, so let’s see where this writing takes us.

Photogeneric

Tyler is going to art school studying photography. His parents move him in, the normal stupid crap when parents move kids in on the first day of school. Tyler has an old camera, not like the newer digital cameras that all of his classmates have. He immediately falls for Sophia, a girl in his class who also happens to be going out with the head photographer for the schools highly regarded newspaper, Britt (very specifically with two t’s and he makes this know a lot). She is studying digital art and takes a liking to him because he uses an old camera and is a bit weird.

Fake Movie Friday: Con-Kid

CRAP. I completely forgot it was Friday. So lets shit something out shall we? Taking the genius method of the Artist Currently Known as Tigs and using a random word generator. I got, BURGLER and SCHOOLCHILD. So this is a bit of a rip off of the 2004 film ‘Catch that Kid.’ The title is not to be confused with some kid version of ‘Con-Air.’

Fake Movie Friday: Good Morning, Delilah

I can’t think of anything witty to say here (arguably I never have) so let’s just jump into this movie!

Good Morning, Delilah

We open on a middle-aged house wife, Delilah, straightening up, cleaning, cooking, and such. Her husband comes home and they have dinner and chat about their day. It is obvious that Delilah is a bit immature. They seem to have a relatively normal life and relationship until one day Delilah starts to hear thing and see shadows outside, shadows that tower over the house but there doesn’t seem to be anything causing the shadows.

Fake Movie Friday: Murder-plex

I went to the 84th street theater on a Wednesday morning to go see Sinister. I didn’t even know there was a movie theater, but it was 6 bucks. No one was around and it freaked the crap out of me. Luckily two people showed up during the previews otherwise the movie would have been 100x scarier and it wasn’t really scary in the first place. Here’s the idea I got.

Murder-plex

A couple rides an escalator down holding popcorn. The lights begin to flicker as they near the theater showing their film “Denny and Thelma.” The lights showing the name of the film flicker as they walk through the door so it reads “De a Th .“

Fake Movie Friday: Immediate Surrender

Another day, and I again have no idea what to write for this FMF. How about something with the title:

Immediate Surrender

We start on an Special Forces training ground where a group of 6 soldiers are readying for a mission. The 6 soldiers (Rex, A-Train, B-Town, Reggie, Payne and Chief), 6 of the most highly decorated soldiers they have, finish what they were doing and are brought into a briefing room. Major Xen, who wears an eye patch, tells them they have a very important mission and goes through all the plans. There is a heavily fortified building in Cambodia that is housing a group of militia that are carrying nuclear and bio chemical weapons. They need to do this quietly, take out the enemy, neutralize the threat, etc etc. The whole time Xen is overly racist and makes a lot of references to blowing them off the map.

Fake Movie Friday: Houseboat

Alright…. I’m in a horror kind of mood, so…

Houseboat

The year is 1982. Billy, age 16, has always been an outsider. At every school he’s been to the kids all make fun of him, the teachers don’t understand him and cannot help him (or just don’t want to). He lives with his dad and his older sister, Katlyn, on a house boat, which makes all of the kids at school think he is even weirder. He also has terrifying dreams. The first one we see is of him strapped to a chair, crying his eyes out. It looks almost like saw. He is begging the person not to keep going, the person looks like a sci-fi version of a nazi scientist. He keeps flipping a switch which will electrocute Billy who would scream if they didn’t put a gag in his mouth to stop him from choking on his tongue. There are shadowy figures in the background who watch and nod at the scientist to flip the switch. He wakes up sweating.

Fake Movie Friday: Untitled Time Travel Movie Involving Grandparents

So I didn’t fall asleep until 8:30am for some reason and I tried my best to write a movie with no sleep this morning but I couldn’t move. Now I’m just staring at the wall so let’s see what comes out of my head brain. When was the last time a kid was transported in time anyway? ‘Forbidden Kingdom’ in 2008? I can’t think of a title.

Fake Movie Friday: A Different World

I think it might be pretty obvious which video game turned movie this would be.

A Different World

Lester is a boy genius physicist. He goes to school and is picked on. His teachers all ask him for the answers. He wins all the science fairs with things that most people thought impossible. We see his home life with his parents. He has built a robotic dog, robot maids, and all of the appliances around the house have been modified by him in some way to make them look cool.
