The Guilt Trip! The Punniest Title of 2013!

This movie has some potential. The chemistry between Streisand and Rogen is fun. The Grand Canyon scene was funny in a great conversational way the rest of the film needs to be. It also could be a huge pile of shit. Who knows!?

It really feels that there will be a red band trailer for this film. Mostly not mentioning the product makes it seem like there is some dirty stuff in this film, also it’s Rogen.

Brave Cavemen

Watch the first minute of this trailer and tell me it doesn’t feel like ‘Brave’, even before you see the girl has red hair too. Then it gets a bit interesting with it’s visuals. Dreamworks Animation has had a ton of animation success lately, but this just isn’t hitting me. Thoughts?

Let Me In, You Damn Dirty Apes

Absolutely brilliant article titles twice in one day? I’m on a roll!

‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ was one of the biggest surprises in years. I can’t think of a movie recently that I had less hope for that turned out to be so good. Sadly director Rupert Wyatt walked away from the sequel and I started worrying. But Matt Reeves is here to save the day for ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’

Now we have another competent director taking over the script written by the original writing team. I am greatly looking forward to more news of a plot and cast.

Put yourself in Lynne Ramsey’s shoes for a moment. You just finished writing and directing ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin.’ You could probably have your pick of great scripts to direct now, but you decide you want to write something for yourself. What do you do?

Space Moby Dick.

A Good Day To Share A Picture

We have our first OFFICIAL look at the McClane and son from the upcoming ‘A Good Day to Die Hard.’ Yes that is the actual title. Jai Courtney, yes that is his actual name, takes up the role as John Jr. If he is even half as cool as his sister Lucy McClane, this should be fun. He is so far described as a bit more straight laced and strategy focused than his father which should make for some interesting chemistry. John McClane has never made a plan other than

1. Arrive
2. Have shit go down
3. Yipee Ki-yay Mother-fucker.

Movie 43 Red Band Trailer. NSFW

Movie 43 is a comedy anthology film coming out this January.  The trailer, gives off the impression that this was done on the shoestringiest of budgets, almost spoof-like,  but with the talent attached to this film it has to be 18128182 times better than anything those Epic/Disaster Movie, Vampire’s Suck, Meet The Spartans assholes come up with.

From the trailer I saw: Anna Faris, Chris Pratt, Emma Stone, Kieran Culkin, Terrence Howard, Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Liev Schreiber, Elizabeth Banks, Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Richard Gere, Chloe Grace Moretz, Kate Bosworth, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jack McBrayer, and JB Smoove.  I’m probably missing one or two, but christ that’s an impressive grouping of people who seem to have no problem being in a raunchy comedy.
